The West Aussie wonder, Magnifisio, gunned down Winterbottom Stakes favourite Angelic Light to take out the sprint for the old team of Jim Taylor and Jason Brown, with Watermans Bay and Shining Knight completing a rare WA trifecta in a Group One race.
Glory Hunter demonstrated his ability and toughness, winning the Winterbottom Stakes under Lucas Camilleri in what was his third competitive outing in just 15 days after placing second in the RJ Peters Stakes and fourth in the Railway Stakes before dropping back in distance.
